For seven weeks, Professor Melanie will take a small group of students through the foundations of astrology and teach them how to move beyond isolated placements and begin understanding the chart as a whole.

You do not need previous astrology experience. You simply need your birth information, a willingness to learn, and curiosity about the language written across your sky.

What You Will Learn

  • Week One, Entering the Birth Chart. Learn the anatomy of a natal chart and the foundational language needed to begin reading one.
  • Week Two, The Twelve Zodiac Signs. Explore the signs, elements, modalities, polarity, and the different ways zodiac energy expresses itself.
  • Week Three, The Twelve Houses. Understand the areas of life represented by each house and how signs and planetary placements change their expression.
  • Week Four, The Planets. Learn what the planets represent and how planetary energy moves through signs and houses.
  • Week Five, Nodes, Aspects & Soul Development. Explore the North and South Nodes, major aspects, repeating patterns, karmic familiarity, and areas of growth.
  • Week Six, The Angles & the Larger Blueprint. Study the Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, IC, stellar influences, and the larger spiritual dimensions of the chart.
  • Week Seven, Reading the Whole Chart. Bring everything together and learn how to recognize patterns, synthesize placements, and begin interpreting a birth chart as one complete story.
